Ms. Jones is a food safety consultant and 4 year veteran of AG Food Safety Solutions. Ms. Jones provides consulting services to growers, pack houses, and warehouse/distribution centers. With a background in law, Ms. Jones focuses her experience on compliance and developing written food safety programs.
Ms. Jones has been trained to GlobalG.A.P. (IFA & PHA), PrimusGFS, and SQF auditing schemes and stays active in industry organizations. Ms. Jones is FSMA trained including the Produce Safety Rule Grower Training course and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual training course.
Ms. Aguiar is a food safety consultant and 4 years veteran with AG Food Safety Solutions.Ms. Aguiar is a food safety consultant and 4 years veteran with AG Food Safety Solutions. Ms. Aguiar focuses on creating functional and compliant operational logs for growers and packing facilities and provides on-site implementation and updating of facility documentation.
Ms. Aguiar has received formal HACCP and Internal Auditing Training and is versed in the GlobalG.A.P. IFA and PrimusGFS auditing schemes. Ms. Aguiar conducts trainings and is responsible for the organization of client food safety programs, grower meetings, and conference logistics.
Ms. Sandoval is a national food safety consultant with 16 years’ experience in food safety. She has a proven track record of identifying and prioritizing her clients’ food safety needs. Ms. Sandoval has provided consulting services to growers, pack houses, and warehouse/distribution centers and provides robust representation during audits to the GlobalG.A.P., Primus, and SQF schemes.
Ms. Sandoval comes from a farming and labor contracting family from the central valley of California. She grew up working on farms and assisting her parents in their companies. She truly loves helping growers bring safe, healthy products to the table.
Kevin Watson has 30 years of experience in agriculture with more than 20 years devoted to national and international food safety projects. Prior to his position with AG Food Safety Solutions, Kevin was the Director of Food Safety at BioSafe Systems, where he developed and implemented sanitation programs for packing, harvesting, bottling and processing plants.
In addition, Kevin’s experience includes management of a Fresh Express food safety team nationally and in Mexico. Kevin has been responsible for food safety symposiums and training events with industry influencers, FDA and food safety professionals. Kevin also worked for the USDA, both at the state and federal level. In this position, Kevin managed the first food safety pilot project in Sinaloa, Mexico and helped develop the first USDA food safety audit metric.
Kevin’s vast experience includes auditing with an emphasis in sanitation and is a certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor. Kevin is PSA certified and is an active member of LGMA’s technical sub-committee and is a member of the Yuma Safe Produce Council.
